The big difference in our present Kondratieff cycle is the emergence in the 70's of the world of finantial derivatives that has inflated the credit mechanism and has distorted (elongated) the Kondratieff cycle. Here you can find this thesis put forward by a mathematician:

http://www.elpais.com/articulo/

futuro/polvo/polen/hace/temblar/

cimientos/finanzas/mundiales/

elpepusocfut/20080102elpepifut_7/Tes

Sorry, the article is in spanish (it is from "El Pais", one of the main national spanish newspapers).

Best.

10/05/2008 4:04 PMAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20377909.post-33810030369192314962008-10-05T20:56:00.000-07:002008-10-05T20:56:00.000-07:00So what happened, why are we not there yet?A good ...So what happened, why are we not there yet?

A good question: why are we not there yet? My answer, as long as the central bankers continue to accept the dollar as legal tender our economy will do OK! You can use your dollar supply and go anywhere in the world and buy goods, services and/or assets!

The seller simply goes to their central bank and exchanges their dollars into their currency.

This is an economic force that our friend Nikolai never thought about back in the days of Stalin rule; if he had, he may have lived to a ripe old age rather than being shot for not giving glory to the socialist model for dealing with business cycles.Darrell's End Timeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09039400345198621667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20377909.post-54787175395216023512008-10-05T16:04:00.000-07:002008-10-05T16:04:00.000-07:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20377909.post-10594514537500892012008-10-05T10:52:00.000-07:002008-10-05T10:52:00.000-07:002 TON heavy thing2 TON heavy thingJustin_n_ILhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02364920951342189988noreply@blogger.com
