As we have all known for at least a year, but has finally hit mainstream tv (60 Minutes), the Alt A and Option ARMs are going to come due. bankruptcies due to job losses and over-extended credit will be driving the foreclosures of this nation. There will be millions underwater, and losing their jobs. The decline of tax revenues will be a big problems. The printing presses at the Treasury will be adding to the problem. A plan to fix the trade deficit is critical!!!!
"The printing presses at the Treasury will be adding to the problem."
And I will add: Causing the Dollar to plunge to the lowest depths ever seen - compounding the pain for consumers who will be struggling to put food on the table.
