The Small Business Credit Crunch - Meredith Whitney
Good interview. I am a sole proprietor and run my business on cash, no debt. With no work in the pipeline, I'm telling folks who send me their resume that I won't be hiring for the rest of 2010. What really worries me are the state layoffs, especially in CA and IL. I guess the Fed has no choice but to keep the printing press running...

Maria Bartiromo and Meredith Whitney - I like them.
Meredith Whitney is saying is that the small businesses are not going to be able to borrow so they are not going to be able to hire.
So state governments are going to be laying off while the very best that small businesses can do is to keep the workers that they have right now.
People are going to be angry. Like you cannot keep your house and you cannot keep your job.
Gartman is screaming for folks that read his newsletter to sell their gold. Here we are again, where cash is king...
Impossible to casually invest any longer. Everything's a three-alarm fire.
