History is full of examples of affluent societies experiencing hard economic times. But according to a growing number of independent analysts - ones whose jobs do not depend on painting a false picture of reality - the economic convulsion the U.S. is headed for may far surpass the Great Depression in terms of raw misery.

regarding fascism in the USA - George Bush is not a fascist, he is trying to protect America as best he can. America is in trouble but the situation is like having a tiger by the tail - if you hang on you're in trouble but if you let go you're dead.
