Obama's birth certificate sealed by Hawaii governor

Not that I'm biased or could give a rat's a@@ one way or the other as to who gets elected (neither candidate will be able to solve our massive economic/geopolitical woes). This issue merely illustrates how far we, as a corrupt/controlled nation, have fallen. One would think, if there was nothing to hide, that there would be... well, nothing to hide. Is this the "Change in America we want to believe in?"

HONOLULU, Hawaii – Although the legitimacy of Sen. Barack Obama's has become a focus of intense speculation – and even several lawsuits – WND has learned that Hawaii's Gov. Linda Lingle has placed the candidate's birth certificate under seal and instructed the state's Department of Health to make sure no one in the press obtains access to the original document under any circumstances.

The governor's office officially declined a request made in writing by WND in Hawaii to obtain a copy of the hospital-generated original birth certificate of Barack Obama.

Gov. Linda Lingle, R-Hawaii

"It does not appear that Dr. Corsi is within any of these categories of persons with a direct and tangible interest in the birth certificate he seeks," wrote Roz Makuala, manager of constituent services in the governor's office, in an e-mailed response to a WND request seeking the information.

Those listed as entitled to obtain a copy of an original birth certificate include the person born, or "registrant" according to the legal description from the office, the spouse or parent of the registrant, a descendant of the registrant, a person having a with the registrant, a legal guardian of the registrant, or a person or agency acting on behalf of the registrant.

I guess I am a bit confused over this concern because I thought that a copy of his birth certificate was released as a photocopy and the seal was visible on that photocopy. Now, the Kenyan grandmother, for all we know, has an axe to bare against her grandson. Remember, his father left the family early in his life. I do believe, as Obama has said, he does not remember his birth father.

Now, the "locking up" of his birth certificate is something that I personally would want for my own. I would not want any lawyer getting access to my own certificate without me knowing it. This is a privacy issue. Our privacy has been given away all too easily and without the citizen's permission.

Here is some things to think about from an adoptee's point of view. He has presented proof that he was born in Hawaii. Believe it or not some states do not allow people access to their long form of their birth certificate. Indiana is an example of that. On my amended birth certificate, it has only my name, my place of birth, my date of birth, my adoptive parents names and their place of birth, and the month and year for the file date. It is considered identifying information to know what hospital that I was born in, to know the time of birth, the doctor at my birth and even the length and weight I was born as. However if he was adopted, guess what - no one is getting access to that original document. Its sealed even from Barack Obama. Its sealed even from his first father and his family. Its sealed even from his mother and her family. Its sealed from his wife and their daughters. This occurs in step parent adoption as well as other forms of adoption. I can't even get a copy of my first amended birth certificate. My amended birth certificate looks suspect. However for me and even Barack Obama its impossible for us to prove that we were born in the United States if we have adoption in our lives. Unless of course you were born in Alabama, Alaska, Kansas, New Hampshire, Oregon and as of Jan. 1, 2009, Maine, in those states you can.

Most states do not allow just anyone access to those documents. You have to be related and a reason to want that document.

I think this is referred to as "rope a dope"

There is no certificate to view, it dosen't exist.

If he has requested that no one be allowed to view his original birth certificate, it exists. I do not get this birth certificate issue with Barack Obama. Even though the records were already sealed and unavailable to be viewed by the public, the Governor of Hawaii reiterated that no one can have access to his birth certificate. Her statement alone tells me that it exists.

Do you have your hospital version of your birth certificate? I bet not.

Here is a review of Hawaii laws:

Even if he was born in Hawaii, didn't he lose his citizenship during his days in Indonesia? In those days, Indonesia banned dual citizenship, plus Obama says he travelled to Pakistan with friends around 1981, and it was illegal for Americans at that time.

It's also entirely reasonable that the reason Obama has refused to release almost any past info from colleges or elsewhere is that this could show he got some advantages in admission as an Indonesian. It makes sense, and we can't really blame him for what happened when he was a child, but it's just that awkward thing called the Constitution.

What's criminal in modern America is that basic questions can't even be brought out.
