Apparently Rick Santelli - famous for "Santelli's rant'' on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, a broadcast diatribe against the Obama administration's bailout of bad mortgages - should have shown up on The Daily Show.
Because, when he didn't, host Jon Stewart laid into the CNBC commentator - "the incredible Santelli'' -- and his entire network, replaying the past assertions of commentators on CNBC such as Jim Cramer: 'Bear Stearns is not in trouble.''
