I cringe at hearing "... 2nd Amendment Rights ..." from the lips of these talking heads that only tends to lend credence to the mistaken claim that rights are conferred by the Constitution and/or Bill Of Rights.
The correct term is Unalienable Rights that are protected from infringement by the 2nd Amendment prohibition on government powers.
Mossberg makes an 8-shot pump shorty with a heat shield (the Persuader). Inexpensive, simple to take apart, & legal under even that restrictive regime. Put a light and a Knoxx recoil "breachers" grip on it and you are good to go in the middle of the night. Shoots 00 buck or slugs without wrist pain. Keep your shells in an ammo box with dessicant if you don't live in Vegas. ;-)
